To install the TurboSwing, must I make holes in my boat or reinforce the hull?

No, you would not have to reinforce your hull. The TurboSwing will be mounted on the transom; it is the strongest structure of the boat. The TurboSwing holders fit exactly on the motor bracket and will be, together with the motor, mounted on the transom using the same bolts. The holders are universal, therefore the holes in the holders match the holes in the motor bracket. All motors have the same brackets. The main bolts at the top of the motor bracket that are already present will be used. For reasons of stabilization, on both sides a 2nd hole will be drilled and a 2nd stabilization bolt installed in one of the 4 or 5 pre-drilled bolt holes. Always leave a minimum of 1, but preferably 2 holes between the main bolt and the stabilization bolt. Otherwise, no drilling or sawing is required at places that are unsuitable and that could weaken the structure of the boat. Reinforcement with epoxy and/or other structural reinforcement is unnecessary.
