Why TurboSwing is the ultimate towing solution

Pull Multiple Tubes, Wakeboarders, and More
The TurboSwing is made to handle it all - from your favorite board sports to pulling tubes and other inflatables; this tow bar has your summer fun covered.

Premium Stainless Steel Construction
We don't skimp when it comes to quality, that is why all TurboSwings are constructed of 316 stainless steel to handle the toughest of marine environments.

Patented Mounting System Provides Easy DIY Installation
What makes each TurboSwing truly unique lies in its patented design - the TurboSwing mounts directly to your existing outboard motor bracket for an easy install.

TurboSwing Ski Tow Bar
No other tow bar or ski pylon on the market can match the towing capacity of TurboSwing.
PROVIDES A PROTECTIVE BARRIER
TRIMS UP WITH YOUR MOTOR
DOESN'T TAKE UP VALUABLE DECK SPACE

How does the TurboSwing work?

By utilizing your existing motor bracket, the TurboSwing not only mounts easily, but it is secured to the strongest point of your boat. Couple this with premium stainless steel construction and a Delrin® self-lubricating pulley and you have the only device rated to safely pull multiple tubes behind your boat.

Premium is an understatement

Safely pulling multiple tubes is no easy feat - that is why we use all 316 stainless steel hardware and have meticulously engineered the TurboSwing mounting bracket for maximum strength and reliability. In fact, we have attempted creating an even better bracket, but have yet to beat the existing TurboSwing design.

TurboSwing EZ Pulley

Smooth pulls, everytime

Not only does the TurboSwing EZ Pulley™ reduce friction on the rider - it also helps improve boat handling while under tow! By gracefully rolling along the curved tow bar, the TurboSwing pulley allows for smooth lateral transitions - without the line jerking experienced with ski pylons and wakeboard towers.

Not your grandpa's pylon

TurboSwing's innovative design allows for all of the ease in converting your outboard into a watersports machine - with none of the headache of wake towers and old-school ski pylons.

TurboSwing Sizes

Pro Tip: Planning on upgrading your outboard motor?

If you are thinking about upgrading to a larger outboard, we recommend getting a size up on your TurboSwing. Each TurboSwing model is designed to fit up to a specific motor size and below – so if you are considering a motor upgrade in the future, you can keep your same TurboSwing by scaling up today! And don’t worry, if you change your mind on the upgrade, your larger TurboSwing will still work just fine on your existing outboard.

Easy DIY Installation

The TurboSwing installs in less than an hour so you can spend more time out on the water. By piggybacking on the existing motor bracket, all that is needed to complete the TurboSwing installation is the addition of 2 stabilizing bolts and to insert the tow bar - it's that easy!

Got a Question?

I need xxl will it get in the way with ladder trying to get out of boat

We have had success in using a TurboSwing with things like swim platforms, swim ladders, kicker motors, and even power poles. If you would like more information for your specific set up please give us a call, 855-228-8726.

I couldn’t find the actual measurements for length, width, etc.. I have a 150 mercury verado AND a 9.9 mercury kicker alongside of it. I’m concerned that the XXL you recommended on the website might be too wide and be a conflict with my kicker. I would likely order the XL if I knew it was rated the same weight as the XXL and would fit my application. Any insite? Thanks, Tyler

We have had success in using our TurboSwing with a kicker motor before. Depending on your specific set up you may have to remove the bar when you are wanting to use the kicker motor. What we have found is most people are typically fishing with friends using the kicker motor or out another day towing family so it seems to work out well. If this is not the case the bar is very easily removed by unclipping the provided carabiner clip and pulling the bar straight out of the tube holders while the hardware stays mounted. We would recommend the XXL for the 150 Mercury.

Hello. I have a 115hp motor. Your website suggested the XL size. I would like to go with the Giant size though. Is there any reason I couldn’t use the giant size? Transom bolts should be the same size?

No you are correct the transom bolts will be the same size, going with a larger bar will give you added height.

Is the XL high enough top water ski?

Yes!

My motor has a hydraulic jack plate , will this still mount to my 20 ft Xpress bay boat with 115 Yamaha

We have had success when installing a TurboSwing with jack plates before. When installing with a jack plate it actually makes it easier to install. You won't have to drill through your transom but drill through the jack plate instead, or your jack plate may already have accommodating holes.

I have a 90 hp Yamaha engine mounted on a 20' pontoon boat with an extended aluminum engine mount platform. Can I attach the TurboSwing to the extended engine mount platform and should I use the XL or XXL size? I also have a aluminum step platform and ladder on the starboard rear side next to the engine. Will the TurboSwing have clearance with the platform & Ladder in the raised position?

For a 90 HP Yamaha you would need the XXL, We have had success in the past when installing the TurboSwing to an extended engine platform as you would mount it to the extended platform. We have had success with installing TurboSwing with swim ladders, you can give us a call or send us an email for more information on the dimensions to confirm this would work on your specific set up.

can you mount the turboswing if your motor is on a jack plate?

Yes! We have had success when installing a TurboSwing with jack platesbefore. When installing with a jack plate it actually makes it easier to install. You won't have to drill through your transom but drill through the jack plate instead, or your jack plate may already have accommodating holes. You can also call or email for more dimensions as well to give you a better idea if it would work for your specific set up.

I asked this question last week. Please answer. I have a 150 Merc, your page tells me to get the XXL bar. I looked on Amazon, they list a XL bar and a Giant Bar. Is the Giant the same as the XXL?

No, our page will always be the most accurate, you will need the XXL, https://turboswing.com/xxl-turboswing-tow-bar.html.

I have a Johnson 88 Special. I noticed that Johnson was not a selection type of motor. Do you have any that will fit this size motor?

For any Johnson motor you may use the Evinrude selection in the make of the motor.

I have a 6 inch Atlas jackplate with a yamaha 150 fourstroke, on a 2014 Key West 210 bay reef.. Could the mounting, of the turbo swing, to the jackplate, and not through the transom be a problem? There is a powerpole also mounted to the right side part of the jackplate. What about clearance?

We have had success when installing a TurboSwing with power poles and jack plates before, (even ladders and swim platforms). When installing with a jack plate it actually makes it easier to install. You won't have to drill through your transom but drill through the jack plate instead, or your jack plate may already have accommodating holes.

I have a 2020 Mecury 150, what size turboswing do I need?

Our XXL turbo swing ski tow bar would work great for you.

I have a Sun Tracker 20 Dlx 2021 with a 90 HP 4 stroke mercury outboard. Will the XXL turbo swing work for me?

Yes, we would recommend the XXL tubro swing ski tow bar!

I have a 2020 pro guide v16wt, looks to me that my transom is too shallow for the second mounting hole on each side. Please let me know what needs to be done, I would love to have this product.

You may be able to do a flush transom mount to mount the brackets higher.

will this work on a tracker pro 175 aluminum boat with a 95 4 stroke merc.

Yes, you will need the XXL, https://turboswing.com/xxl-turboswing-tow-bar.html.

What is the exact weight capacity of the XXL due to I saw it towing a large boat on the video on your website but it also says it only tows 600 pounds?

That was our ski tow rescue bar that you saw, we no longer produce it.

Installed my turbo swing by myself while anchored in 3’ deep water. The installation instructions are very good. The actual install was not difficult, even by myself. The turbo swing is awesome and works like advertised. It is extremely strong and I feel completely safe pulling my grandkids on the tube. It’s the best thing out there! Do yourself a big favor and just get one!

I put this on a 1999 tracker super v guide. I had tried tying ropes off to the corner doublers on the back but it would pull from one side when turning. with the turbo swing, the boat steered better, actually got on plane, and kept most of the rope out of the water. It worked great pulling the knee board.

After I installed the turboswing, the boat gets on plane much quicker even pulling a larger inflatable. At first I was a little unsure of attaching something to the transom, but this is a solid piece of engineering.

Very well built and very tough for pulling tubes! Probably the only real ski/tube tow that wont fold in half for use on pontoons that will not take up any deck space at all. I've sold and installed several of these for my customers!
